Okay first of all our server knew EVERYTHING about the food and how it was made and explained everything so perfectly.. girl what was her name ! She had pretty glasses on and was working Valentine’s Day and beautiful black hair & shoutout to our server after that who had amazing rings on & a great vibe as well. The food did not disappoint and the ambiance was amazing. Music was at a perfect volume not loud so that you can’t talk but not too quiet so that you hear everyone else lol. I wish I had room for the Moussaka which you don’t see a lot on a menu but we went with so many good things. Thank U IRIS!

The food is good and delicious but the flavors can do more to fit the contemporary taste. The dessert is way too sweet given the current trend is to be more healthy. The fries and the half roasted chicken are wonderful. I like the subtle and light flavor of the cucumber limeade. The service is top notch though. And the minimalist vibe is very tasteful.

Wonderful, a place to always comeback! This venue is not just convenient, but it also radiates an ambience that makes any occasion the ideal place whether it be for cocktails, date, business meal, pre-theatre gathering, Central Park visit before or after, lunch, or supper. In the mood for Mediterranean, to feel less full before our Broadway show, Iris was our choice last week, and we nailed it! For appetizers we went with grilled octopus, so good and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The grilled squid turned out to be a fair size to split, and tasty. The Iris Moussaka is a wonderful and satisfying dish that is not to be overlooked for eggplant fans like me. The Branzino was to die for, very delicious. Cocktails when we first came and along with dessert. Surely will return for the Iris Manhattan before the spring season is out and the Son of Aphrodite right in summer. Cuisine, drinks and service by Sheldon were of the highest caliber.

Arrived here after work for restaurant week. The dining room was relatively quiet with an beautiful decor. The spice on the lamb flatbread stimulated my appetite. The Branzino is tender. The pistachio baklava is also tasty.

Our dinner on a Friday evening in early March was wonderful! We arrived earlier than our reservation time and they happily accommodated the four of us. We all agreed that the service, food and vibe were outstanding. The fluffy bread, whipped feta, branzino, short rib, and all parts of our meals were delicious and well-presented. Both of our waiters went above and beyond with just the right amount of check in. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're near Central Park and Lincoln Center.

So I've walked by this establishment many times over the last two years and have always wanted to try it. Today was the day! If you're a lover of Mediterranean style food, this is one of the nicest and fanciest restaurants in New York City for that type of cuisine. The decor is beautiful, the service at the bar was fantastic, and the food was outstanding. I would definitely return to and recommend Iris!
